Shortly thereafter, the band started working on its first compositions, with 5 full tracks ultimately making their way into the band’s first release, the (self) titled EP “DragonSkull”. Despite being a self-released album with minimal promotion, the EP quickly gained traction across popular streaming platforms, social media, dedicated local and international webzines and forums, receiving a very warmth response from fans of the genre and overall positive reviews from critics. The title track of the EP, “DragonSkull”, in particular made quite an impression, being featured in the cult compilation release ““Power Feast IV”( alongside tracks from well established Greek epic/heavy metal outfits such as Achelous, Triumpher and others).
The EP’s positive response followed a number of well-sought after local gigs, with the most notable ones being special guests to US Power Metal pioneers Jag Panzer and supporting acts to legendary outfits of the power/heavy metal scene Domine and Medieval Steel, as part of the ‘Into Battle’ festival. The band was praised by fans and critics alike for delivering powerful live shows, particularly noting the tightness in both performance and sound, as well as the accompanying stage act.
DragonSkull's first full length album, came in March 2025, titled ''Chaos Fire Vengeance'' by the mighty Greek label, Eat Metal Records. The album contains 8 brand new tracks bearing the epic savage metal character of DragonSkull and was imediatelly appreciated by metal fans as well as critics, forums and magazines. Also Ricardo Iacono of Domine appears as a guest in "Blood And Souls".
